Pioneer Girls

Pioneer Clubs is a 60+ year-old nondenominational international ministry whose focus is teaching children to apply biblical truths to all areas of life.  Pioneer Girls is First Free's longest running Children's Club, having started at our church in 1946.

Pioneer Girls is a club that provides girls in Grades 3-6 with opportunities to study and memorize Scripture, build relationships with one another and with maturing Christian ladies, and learn all sorts of life skills, while having lots of fun.  It features an opening ceremony, a fun-filled game time, a handbook time that involves crafts and learning life skills, and a story time rich in biblical truths.

Each Wednesday at 6:45 pm the girls meet as a large group in the Family Center for Opening Exercises and are dismissed to enjoy handbook time in their grade level rooms.  The sixth grade club features a charm course that emphasizes biblical modesty and manners.  Throughout the year, girls will enjoy additional activities and events such as sleep-overs, parties and project nights.
